Assassin's Creed Mirage: Story and Setting

Assassin's Creed Mirage follows the journey of Basim: a young street thief living just outside of Baghdad. Stealing to make a living, Basim's life changes after he breaks into the Winter Place of Anbar and discovers a mysterious device guarded by a secret society known as The Order.

After he's caught, Basim's forced to flee his old life, escaping with the help of the Hidden Ones; a secret league of assassins operating within Baghdad. Years later, Basim returns to Baghdad as a member of the Hidden Ones, determined to seek out and bring down The Order while learning more about the secrets they're hiding behind closed doors.
