Shopbop flies a little under the radar for one obvious reason: Amazon makes it laughably difficult to find on its site, though Shopbop hawks its wares through its own dedicated storefront, too. If you know where to look (or rely on us to do the sleuthing), you can reliably unearth quality buys from buzzier labels—Corridor—and big-name designer brands—Missoni—alike. Shopbop’s inventory is better on the women’s side of the aisle, but if you’re eager to level up your wardrobe the next time you express-order a microwave, it’s still a solid bet.

If you’re reading this, you’re likely all-too-aware of Amazon’s reputation—both as a harbinger of doom for the brick-and-mortar shops we love, and as a desolate wasteland of dubiously-named third-party brands.
